How to Measure?

Height : Stand next to a wall, put a ruler horizontally on your head and mark at the point where the ruler reach the wall. Then measure the distance from the floor to the mark.

Neck : Measure around neck at collar level.

Chest/Bust : Measure the circumference. Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your chest (across your nipples), wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement.

Shoulder : (Measure from Back Side) With your arms down at your sides, and with your shoulders back (stand up straight), measure around your shoulders. Measure from the edge of the left shoulder point to the edge of the right shoulder, along the top of the shoulder just below the base of the collar.

Upper Arm/Bicep : Wrap the tape measure tightly around your upper arm i.e. widest part of upper arm just underneath your underarm.

Waist : Measure the circumference of your waist. Use the tape to circle your waist (sort of like a belt would) at your natural waistline, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage.

Sleeves : Stand straight and measure from end of your shoulder (start of arm) to the wrist.

Length : (Measure from Back Side) Measure down the back from the base of the collar to the length required.

Hips : Measure the circumference of your hips. Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your buttocks. Because making sure the tape is level back there can be hard, try to do it in front of a mirror.

Out-seam : Start from the top of the waistband on a pair of trousers, down to where you wish the bottom of the trousers to end.

Inseam : This is the distance from the uppermost inner part of your thigh to the bottom of your ankle.

Palm : Measure from the edge of your middle finger to the start of wrist.

Shoes : Midpoint measurement is based on the mean foot length and width for which the shoe is suitable, measured in millimeters. (The International Standard is ISO 9407:1991)
